Calculation Result
Number of panels needed: 5
Effective area per panel: 10 m²
Specific Coefficient Values
Building class | 375 W | 420 W | 550 W |
---|---|---|---|
F (worst insulation) | 5 m² | 6 m² | 8 m² |
E | 6 m² | 7 m² | 9 m² |
D | 7 m² | 8 m² | 10 m² |
C | 9 m² | 10 m² | 13 m² |
B | 10 m² | 11 m² | 14 m² |
A (best insulation) | 16 m² | 20 m² | 25 m² |
How the Calculation Works
The number of panels needed is calculated using the formula:
Where:
- N - number of panels (rounded up to ensure sufficient heating)
- S - total area in square meters
- k(E, W) - specific coefficient (effective heating area per panel)
- E - building energy efficiency class (from F to A)
- W - panel power in watts
The k-value is determined from the table based on the building's energy efficiency class and the panel power.
Example Calculation
For a room area of 50 m², class C house, 420 W panel:
- According to the table k(C,420) = 10 m² per panel
- Calculation: N = ceil(50 / 10) = ceil(5) = 5 panels
